At 30, I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. I was told there was nothing I could do — that the best I could expect was to manage the pain with medication. I took it as a life sentence I’d have to deal with forever. Years later, learning what food, movement and sleep could do for a body in inflammation changed everything. I haven’t had a flare in years. I haven’t needed conventional medication since. That was the first time I understood lifestyle as medicine — not as treatment, as how I live.
What I didn’t understand yet was that you can’t heal in a stressed body, no matter how well you eat or sleep. I learned it the hard way — burnout, acute stress reaction, sick leave. When I stopped and looked back, I saw that I had been running on hidden stress for most of my adult life. Doing everything “right.” Pushing through. Looking fine on the outside. My body had been talking for years before it finally screamed.
That was the inflection point. I chose to give myself permission to stop, and permission to heal. I learnt that the goal isn’t to feel “normal” or to fit inside someone else’s idea of what’s fine. The goal is to feel actually well. To go to the root instead of silencing the signal. To stop accepting “there’s nothing you can do” as an answer. I always have a choice.

This is the work I do now. I help women whose bodies are sending signals — autoimmune symptoms, perimenopause, chronic stress, burnout — find another way. Not a meal plan. Not a quick fix. An integrative way of living that meets you exactly where you are, addresses the cause, not the surface, and that holds after we finish working together. No two bodies are the same. The method starts with yours. The shift I guide people through is from resignation to resignification: from “this is just how my body is now” to “I have agency over how I feel.”

Root cause, not symptom.
When the body sends signals — fatigue, inflammation, pain, anxiety — the answer isn’t to silence them. It’s to ask what they’re trying to say, and to address why they’re there in the first place.
Optimal, not normal.
“Within range” isn’t the goal. “It’s normal for your age” isn’t the goal. The goal is to feel genuinely well — energised, clear, at home in your own body.
Whole person, not parts.
Hormones, gut, mind, nervous system, sleep and food don’t live in separate rooms. I work with all of them, because the body works with all of them. And I work with *your* body, not a template. Every body is different. Bio-individuality is the start, not a footnote.
